GLASS GAMES 2026
CHAMPS 2026 MASTERS FINALS
From May 6–9, 2026, the Las Vegas Convention Center played host to one of the most anticipated events in the American functional glass community: the CHAMPS Glass Games Masters Final. Although the CHAMPS Las Vegas Winter Show traditionally takes place in February, this year’s edition shifted to early May, bringing together artists, retailers, and enthusiasts from across the country.
At the center of the bustling show floor, twenty-four elite glass artists earned their place in the Masters Final after competing throughout the year-long CHAMPS Glass Games circuit. Each stop along the CHAMPS schedule served as a qualifying event, with artists battling for the opportunity to advance to this championship showdown.
For the Masters Final, competitors were challenged with the theme, “From Inner Space to Outer Space,” inviting them to explore the connection between the microscopic and the cosmic. Over the course of fourteen hours of flameworking spread across the four-day event, artists transformed molten glass into intricate works inspired by everything from cellular structures and biological forms to galaxies, planets, and the vast unknown.
More than $40,000 in prize money was on the line, including a $20,000 grand prize awarded to the artist whose piece earned the highest honors.
Selecting the winners was a panel of respected industry veterans whose combined experience spans decades of innovation and craftsmanship in the glass world:
• Dave Strobel (@strobelglass)
• Micro (@Microsworkshop)
• CoolHandSuuze (Suuze Rateliff)
Together, they evaluated each entry on technical execution, creativity, and interpretation of the theme, ultimately determining which artists would rise to the top of the 2026 CHAMPS Glass Games Masters Final.
Twenty-four artists qualified through the 2025 Glass Games circuit and accepted invitations to compete:
