Hey there, buyers! You have questions. We have answers.

Welcome to the CHAMPS Trade Shows! To help you prepare for your CHAMPS experience, we have compiled some frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out! 

What are your general guidelines for buyers?

CHAMPS is a business-to-business only event. All attendees are required to show two forms of business ID to enter the show. 

While CHAMPS is free to attend, it is not open to the public. You must be a qualified buyer to attend. CHAMPS Trade Shows open for Paid Exhibitors & Qualified Buyers!  

CHAMPS reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason and to remove anyone from the premises at any time. All attendees must be 18 years or older. No children, no infants, no babies of any age can attend the Trade Show. 

Once approved for a show, you are approved for ALL shows, but you still need to register for each show you want to attend. Provided your business license and permits are up to date.

Please check your email for updates on registration status. An email will be sent to confirm your attendance. Click the link and a 2nd email will be sent with the QR code. If you want to modify or add a guest, you can do so by clicking on “Add Guest” on the bottom of the QR code email. 

If I'm NOT registered, what do I need to bring with me to the show?

When attending CHAMPS, it is essential to bring two forms of business identification.

At least one of the following is required: 

  • Reseller’s License 
  • Seller’s Permit 
  • Business License 
  • Tax ID / State Tax Certificate 
  • Tobacco License / Permit 
  • Article(s) of Operation 

The second form can be one of the following: 

  • Business Credit Card (name must be visible; number may be covered) 
  • Business Card 
  • Previous Invoice / Purchase Order (must show company name and address) 

Additionally, upon arrival, please fill out the buyer registration form located in the “ON-SITE BUYERS” area. You can also download this form from our website under the Buyers tab by clicking on the New Buyer button.   

How can Media attend a show?
Media MUST reach out and share intentions before attending a show. Media should reach out to Michael@ChampsTradeshows.com or call 973-512-4784.
Can Manufacturers, Brands & Service Providers attend?

Manufacturers, Brands & Service Providers are NOT WELCOME as Buyers.

If you plan to sell a service or a product, you must be in an exhibitor booth. CHAMPS does not allow buyers to promote, brand or sell on the show floor. 

I'm a Budtender. Can I attend the show?
Yes! You must be currently employed and accompanied by the Manager/Buyer of the dispensary! To gain entry, fill out the registration form on our website and present your agent card. Please note that only verified and approved dispensary personnel are permitted to attend.
How much does the show cost?
The show is completely free for verified buyers. To qualify as a verified buyer, you must provide at least two forms of business documentation, one of which must be state or federally issued. Each business can have up to 4 attendees, and any additional guests must be approved by CHAMPS management & will be subject to an entrance fee of $50.00 per person.
If my company is approved, can they still register for the show?

Absolutely! Once your company is approved, you can register by following these steps: 

Using your email and company name on the CHAMPS Trade Shows website. Click on the Buyer tab, then click “Past Buyer” and follow instructions. If you have any issues, call this number: (818) 855 –1528. 

How do I make changes to my guest list?

You can modify your guest list as follows:

Go to the QR code email and follow the direct link back to the Log in page; it will say “Modify Registration!” Follow the instructions page by page, will see a tab to “Add Another Person.” Follow directions to add another person. Changes to your registration are not final until you reach the QR code/ confirmation page.  

How do I know if I am approved after submitting a form?

Once you submit a form online, it will still need to be processed at the show. If a second document was not submitted or processed on time, entry might be delayed.

For the latest updates and to download forms, visit our website under the Buyers tab and click on the New Buyer button. Applications are processed within 48 business hours – no online forms are available during the show.

Any other advice?

Comfortable Shoes: Trade shows often involve a lot of walking, so wear shoes that are both professional and comfortable. 

Bring a Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during busy days.  

Snacks: Pack some healthy snacks to keep your energy levels up throughout the day. 

Social media: Follow the event on social media to stay updated and engage with other attendees.
